The Ibero-American Design Biennial (IDB), organized by the Fundación Diseño Madrid , takes place every two years at the Central de Diseño de Matadero Madrid, a center for contemporary creation promoted by the Government Area for Culture and Sports of the Madrid City Council, and is the most important event for contemporary Ibero-American design.

The BID is an initiative that allows the public to get closer to the discipline of design and its environment, as well as being a meeting point, on the one hand for reflection and thought and, on the other, to establish relationships between professionals, with companies industry and academia. Year after year it is consolidated as a forum to generate ideas and share them.

Participation in its call offers participants access to the IDB Seal, a quality mark and standard of excellence, and entails a series of visibility opportunities.

Hune received a special mention in the "Design and Sustainability" category for its line of conscientiously designed products based on the principles of circular economy, ecodesign and social economy.
