European Mention "Design and Sustainability": Hune was awarded in the Ibero-American Design Biennial
22 COUNTRIES GATHERED AROUND DESIGN
The Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID), organized by the Fundación Diseño Madrid, takes place every two years at the Central de Diseño de Matadero Madrid, a center for contemporary creation promoted by the Madrid City Council's Department of Culture and Sports, and is the most important event for contemporary Ibero-American design.
The BID is an initiative that allows the public to approach the discipline of design and its environment, as well as being a meeting point, on the one hand for reflection and thought and, on the other hand, to establish relationships between professionals, with companies in the sector and academia. Year after year it is consolidated as a forum for generating and sharing ideas.
Participation in its call offers participants access to the BID Seal, a mark of quality and standard of excellence, and brings with it a series of visibility opportunities.
Hune received a special mention in the "Design and Sustainability" category for its line of conscientiously designed products based on the principles of circular economy, eco-design and social economy.
